Cesta

Cesta is a mission and values-based brand, focused on a meaningful supply chain with integrity.

At Cesta, their aim is to create economy in the developing world and to promote female empowerment through joyful, ethically made accessories. They limit their impact on the environment and are mindful of every choice made - always upholding our Earth First Policy.

Every Cesta piece is made by hand from start-to-finish. Each basket is handwoven by female artisanal cooperatives in rural Rwanda, using locally-sourced, renewable resources. Each piece is finished by hand in Italy, with carefully chosen, sustainable materials.

Cesta was established in 2017 by Courtney Fasciano & Erin Ryder, with a clear design point of view and larger goal of creating beautiful products, while making a difference. Cesta won a CFDA Award in 2019, for excellence in global logistics.
